The new anti-microbial silicone sheet was specifically developed to break down strains of bacteria and organisms such as strains of Ecoli,MRSA ,and Salmonella. the material has been indendently tested to JIS Z 2801:200,and has been proven to reduce spore reproduction and then accelerate the count reduction to the killing of the strain as the silicone contains a special silver based biocide additive ,the bacteria when landing on the surface absorbs the siliver ions,which inturn destroys the bacteria by breaking down their cells,this works by the silver ions inhibiting the growth of any micro-organisms and detering it from contaminating or colonising the surface it has landed on therefore providing ongoing protection
